Impressive solid teak table with drop leaves & sculpted teak gate leg frame. Designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen for France & Son in 1956.

It’s easy to see that this is a wonderfully designed and constructed table, with subtle curves in the legs, brass details in the hinges & ancillary center supports. All hinges in the frame & top function well. Wonderful patina has built over the decades, adding to this vintage pieces story.
The top has a repaired & stabilized crack but does not impact structure or function. Lightly refinished in an oil-based wiping varnish to provide protection and a period correct look & feel. Shows age-appropriate patina & wear and signs of minor repair, but no structural flaws or glaring cosmetic issues present.
