Rosewood is always touted as one of, if not the most beautiful wood species of all. Rich brown and red hues with starkly contrasting mineral lines create so much intrigue and movement. The case of this piece rests on two sled legs constructed of solid rosewood and the drawers are accented with a cobalt glaze ceramic tile.
Overall condition is excellent for its age, very minimal wear and no structural issues. The original lacquer finish was cleaned and touched up, but this piece has not been fully refinished.
