Iconic Herman Miller 670/671 ‘Eames’ lounge chair and ottoman, designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1956. This is a staple of Mid-Century Modernism and is still being produced to this day.
This specific example is of the third-generation production, purchased by the original owners in Chicago circa 1982-1984. This chair & ottoman features Brazilian rosewood veneer & the original black leather upholstery. The original lacquer finish is fully intact and shows minimal signs of wear. The leather presents well and shows a great patina from age and normal use.
