Heavy cast iron bases & patinated brass blades give these a hefty impression and provide style and functionality to your hearth. All original with the exception of one replaced screw on the back of a brass blade. Great vintage condition overall with no major imperfections, just wonderful patina!
Donald Deskey was a very notable industrial designer in the early-mid 20th century, creating ubiquitous designs ranging from product packaging to furniture/lighting & decor. It’s fascinating to read about him and how prolific he was; the more you look around, the more Deskey you see!
