Designed by Erik Ole Jørgensen for FDB Møbler in 1976.
This superb mid 70s loveseat is an excellent example of Danish simplicity mixed with the growing influence of post-modernism, space age and Euro-modern styles. Erik Ole Jørgensen was a trained upholsterer turned furniture designer who worked with many notable manufacturers like Fredericia, Kvadrat and FDB Møbler; creating iconic designs in both furniture & textiles. His Neptun series for FDB seem to be somewhat uncommon (and often misattributed to Tobia Scarpa), though I was lucky enough to find a scan from a catalog to ID it. The solid oak frame and stout bolt fasteners give a strong presence while still being understated overall. Original wool tweed upholstered cushions are supportive & the color is super versatile!

Some age-appropriate wear is present, although no structure issues are present. The cushions & fabric are clean and free of odors/rips/tears/stains.
