Risom is a celebrated designer, immigrating from Denmark to the USA but still maintaining the traditions of Danish design ideology. He is credited as designing the first mass-produced chair for Knoll, and went on to start his own design firm in the 1950s.
This is a sleek and functional piece of furniture, great for a small entryway or plant stand as the formica top will bear plenty of resistance to water. The solid walnut frame has been fully refinished and has wonderful color and richness. No structural issues, age-appropriate wear remains on the top surface.
