Funky space age / MCM accent lamp made by Hardware Arts Group Inc, date unknown, estimated c. 1980s.
This was originally intended to be used as a wall sconce and operates via motion sensor on the top/front. It can also be used as a table lamp and switched on & off by waving your hand over the sensor. When it’s turned on, a small hydraulic cylinder raises the lamp shade a few inches to allow more light dispersion.
Great vintage condition, minor age-appropriate wear & patina. No operational issues with electronics.
